Tuzla Canton Government Falls, New Majority Formed by Trio, PDA, SD and Former SDA Members

(Patria) - The Government of Tuzla Canton was dismissed at today's emergency session of the Tuzla Canton Assembly. The new majority consists of SDP, NiP, Our Party, SD, PDA, and three former SDA representatives.

The agenda, which was adopted with 18 votes, was proposed by Dževad Hadžić (SDP).

After the adoption of the agenda, the Speaker of the Tuzla Canton Assembly, Žarko Vujović, requested a ten-minute break, and after returning from the break, Vujović resigned during the continuation of the session.

Shortly thereafter, the leadership of the Tuzla Canton Assembly was dismissed, with 18 votes in favor and 15 against. Following this, the clubs of peoples convened, and Husein Tokić (SDBiH) from the Bosniak constituent people, Silva Banović (NiP) from the Croat constituent people, and Slađan Ilić (SDP) from the Serb constituent people were proposed for the leadership of the Tuzla Canton Assembly.


Husein Tokić was elected Speaker of the Tuzla Canton Assembly, with Slađan Ilić and Silva Banović as deputies.

Asmir Hasić and Emir Selimović, who were part of the previous majority, provided the deciding votes for this dismissal.
