The 15th Summer Paralympic Games (POI) were ceremonially opened in Rio de Janeiro, which will last until September 18. The BiH team was led by athlete Dženita Klico, who carried the BiH flag, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
Our representatives at the Paralympics are the sitting volleyball team, which will try to win its third gold medal. Previously, they won silver in Sydney 2000 and London 2012, and gold in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008.
They play their first match on September 10 against Ukraine. Shot putter Dženita Klico will compete on September 10, while Dževad Pandžić will compete in the same discipline on September 16.
