Football field opened in Bojnik: 450 young players have a place to train

More than 450 young footballers have a quality training field from today, after the Novi Grad football school, together with the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, realized a major project of building a training camp in the settlement of Bojnik.

This sports complex was symbolically opened today, on the eve of the start of the World Cup in Brazil, in the presence of a large number of young players and their parents, relatives, and friends, writes the Patria News Agency.

The "Novi Grad" football school is one of the most massive in Sarajevo. The Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo granted them the location for the construction of the training camp free of charge this year.

Otherwise, at this location, as Fadil Aganspahić, director of the "Novi Grad" football school, told us, the construction of two standard-sized stadiums and one smaller stadium is planned.

- This is the first stadium in this part of the Novi Grad municipality, and on this occasion, I thank everyone who helped us, especially the Municipality of Novi Grad - says Aganspahić.

- For years we tried to get space for building sports fields, but we did not find understanding from the local authorities. Now we really have something to be proud of, and the field looks magnificent - added Aganspahić.
