Traveled on a regular flight: Milorad Dodik in Moscow, expects to meet Putin on Tuesday

(Patria) - "I have arrived," Milorad Dodik wrote on X on Saturday, three hours after midnight. But where the fugitive president of Republika Srpska has arrived has not been announced, writes istraga.ba.

Several of Dodik's party colleagues, including the Mayor of Jezero Municipality, Snežana Ružičić, posted "welcome president", attaching archival photos. It was told to the media in Banja Luka that Dodik has "private obligations" and will not appear in public.

However, several sources close to Dodik at Istraga.ba claim that the president of Republika Srpska traveled from Belgrade to Moscow. There, according to the same sources, he is expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday.

Given that the Cessna of the Government of Republika Srpska is still "parked" in Banja Luka, it is clear that the president of RS used another plane for the trip to Moscow. Dodik, as we said, announced that he had "arrived" at 3 AM our time. According to data available at Moscow airport, a plane from Belgrade landed at 4:10 AM local time.

Considering that the time difference between BiH and Russia is two hours, 4:10 AM in Moscow was 2:10 AM in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dodik, as we said, announced that he had "arrived" exactly at 3 AM BiH time. So, about 50 minutes after the plane from Belgrade landed in Moscow, Dodik announced that he had "arrived".

Why did Dodik travel to Moscow on a regular flight?

The Court of BiH ordered the issuance of an international arrest warrant for Milorad Dodik three days ago. The General Secretariat of Interpol, as of the time of publication, has not yet approved the issuance of an arrest warrant for Dodik. A final decision should be made in the next few days. If Interpol were to issue an international arrest warrant, there would be a great danger that the plane of the Government of Republika Srpska carrying Milorad Dodik would be banned from flying over NATO member states. In that case, the Government of RS plane would remain "trapped" in Moscow. Therefore, Dodik decided to travel to Moscow on a regular flight. In that case, only Russia and Serbia, the countries from which the plane departs and lands, know the names of the passengers on board. Traveling on a regular flight almost guarantees Dodik's return to Belgrade, even if Interpol approves the issuance of an arrest warrant.

It is certain that the Serbian authorities will not arrest Milorad Dodik on an arrest warrant from BiH, and we have confirmed that he crosses the border between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia without hindrance.

We remind you that the BiH Prosecutor's Office is conducting an investigation against the president of RS, Milorad Dodik, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of attacking the constitutional order. The BiH Prosecutor's Office issued an order for his arrest, but no police agency in BiH dares to execute that order. A central search was subsequently issued for Dodik, which is valid only in BiH. In the meantime, the Court of BiH ordered the issuance of an international arrest warrant, but the final decision is made by the General Secretariat of Interpol.

Despite being sought by the BiH judiciary, Dodik traveled to Israel where he participated in a conference on anti-Semitism. He returned from Israel on Friday morning.

According to Istraga's information, Milorad Dodik has a promise to meet with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, on Tuesday. Duško Perović, head of the RS Representation in Russia, is arranging that meeting.
