(Patria) - The celebration of Serbia's Statehood Day and the Day of the Serbian Army, which was supposed to be held in Sarajevo, has ultimately been cancelled. This was confirmed by the Serbian Embassy in our country.
The celebration was supposed to be held at the Hills Hotel in Ilidža, but it was ultimately cancelled after fierce and justified public criticism.
On this occasion, the Serbian Embassy made a statement on the social network X, and we are conveying their announcement here:
- The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Bosnia and Herzegovina informs the public that the reception, which was to be held at the Hills Hotel on February 13, 2025, on the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia and the Day of the Serbian Army, has been cancelled by the hotel due to yesterday's reports in the local media and the security risk arising from them. The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Bosnia and Herzegovina thanks the Hills Hotel for their professional and correct cooperation - they announced.
