Suspects in Ship shooting arrested in Neum

(Patria) - Two suspects who allegedly shot at A.R. on Thursday evening in Šip, an area of the Sarajevo municipality of Centar, have been arrested in Neum, the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton announced.

In the municipality of Neum, at 09:30 this morning, A.A. (1991) and S.A. (1980), both from Sarajevo, were deprived of their liberty on grounds of suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of attempted murder, on 07/18/2024, against A.R. in Branilaca Šipa street.

Cooperation was established with OSA BiH and MUP HNK in the actions undertaken to locate, find, and deprive the suspects of their liberty.

We remind you that last night around 19:55, the Centar Police Department was informed that a firearm was used in Branilaca Šipa street, Centar municipality, as a result of which the male A.R. (1985) from Sarajevo sustained bodily injuries.

After the emergency medical service team provided first aid to the injured person at the scene, he was transferred to KCUS where he was admitted for further treatment, out of danger.
