Primary school children from Centar watched the ballet "Little Dandelion"

Under the auspices of the Municipality of Centar, the ballet performance "Little Dandelion" was performed on March 23, 2015, on the stage of the Sarajevo Cultural Center (Jelića 1) for lower-grade students from the primary schools "Alija Nametak" and "Isak Samokovlija", reports the Patria News Agency. 

The ballet, an original work by composers Josef Bayer and Johann Strauss, was performed on the stage in Jelićeva by students of the "Mladen Pozajić" Primary Music School. The music for the performance was done by Hamdija Salihbegović and Nedžad Merdžanović from the "Antika" studio, the scenography and costume design were the work of Narda Nikšić, and Brižita Karabašić was responsible for the choreography and direction.

The performance is intended for preschool children and primary school students up to the third grade. It was staged at the Jelićeva venue primarily with the aim of bringing ballet art closer to children, which is among the most demanding and complex forms of art, and which is almost non-existent in our regular educational programs. The Municipality of Centar allocated 2,100 KM for the support of this project this year, it was announced from the Municipality of Centar.
