Osmanović and Hadžić Best Ministers, Čović Person of the Year

Organized by Banja Luka's „Nezavisne novine“, the 12th selection for Person of the Year 2014 was held, and the person of the year is Dragan Čović, member of the BiH Presidency, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Through votes via SMS and on the portal www.nezavisne.com, readers selected the best ministers in both entity governments and in the Council of Ministers of BiH.

Thus, the recognition of best minister in the Government of the Federation of BiH went to Adil Osmanović, Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees, with 3,928 votes. Osmanović thanked the readers who, through voting, recognized the activities and work of the Ministry he heads.

- On this occasion, I want to greet the editor of 'Nezavisne', journalists, all employees, and of course the owner, my friend, Željko Kopanja, who is a role model for me in life, to fight for the little, 'ordinary' person, who needs politics to be at his service and to help him solve the problems he faces every day - said Osmanović.

The best minister in the Council of Ministers of BiH, by the decision of readers who voted 3,582 times, is Damir Hadžić, Minister of Transport and Communications of BiH. Hadžić said that it is his obligation to state that this recognition equally belongs to his entity colleagues.

- It is a privilege for me, as one of equals in the Council of Ministers of BiH, to receive this prestigious recognition, and therefore it is my duty to especially thank you, Mr. Kopanja, editors and journalists, and of course the readers of your esteemed newspaper, which fosters dialogue and strives to inform the public in BiH in a timely and objective manner - said Hadžić.
