Weakened BiH national team seeks new victory against powerful France

TUZLA, (Patria) - Perhaps the key match of the World Cup qualifiers, the BiH basketball national team plays tonight in Mejdan. The opponent is the French national team.

Coach Duško Vujošević found himself in huge problems due to numerous withdrawals, including the best and most important players such as Džanan Musa and Nemanja Gordić. The main hopes of our national team will be Andrija Stipanović and Elmedin Kikanović.

The French arrived in Tuzla with a very strong squad with several NBA stars, so our national team is in an almost impossible mission.

Coaches Vujošević and Vincent Collet have selected the squads for tonight's duel.

Markus Lončar, Amar Alibegović, Darko Talić, Edin Atić, Adin Vrabac, Amar Gegić, Elmedin Kikanović, Almir Hasandić, Aleksandar Lazić, Ibrahim Durmo, Nedžad Muratović, Marko Rikalo will play for the BiH national team.

Robert Rikić, who did not get FIBA permission to play for BiH, was not on the list, and two Spars centers, Refik Bašić and Kenan Kamenjaš, were also dropped from the list.

Thomas Huertel, Andrew Albicy, Nando De Colo, Fabien Causer, Paul Lacombe, Nicolas Batum, Evan Fournier, Boriss Diaw, Alain Koffi, Rudy Gobert, Vincent Poirier and Moustapha Fall will play for France.

The match is played in the Mejdan hall in Tuzla starting at 8:30 PM.
