Optimistic Forecasts: Number of Employed Persons Rises in FBiH

The Federal Institute for Statistics records an increase in the number of employed persons in FBiH during October compared to the previous month, and the number of employed persons has also increased compared to the entire previous year, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

The increase in employment occurred in the agricultural sector, forestry and fishing, then in the manufacturing industry, construction, hotel and catering industry, as well as in some other activities.

According to data from the Federal Institute for Statistics, in October 2014 the total number of employed persons in the Federation of BiH was 448,001, which represents an increase in the number of employed persons of 0.4% compared to September 2014.

Compared to the annual average number of employed persons in 2013, in 2014 there was an increase in the number of employed persons of 3.0%, reports Patria.
