Again No Assembly of NK Čelik: Only 16 Delegates Attended the Session!

More than a year after the interrupted session of the Assembly of the Football Club Čelik, at which the resignation of Assembly President Mehmed Rahmanović was adopted and which was never continued, acting Assembly President Nihad Pašalić had scheduled a session for tonight, but it was not held due to lack of quorum, reports the Patria news agency.

- Only 16 delegates responded and we did not have a quorum. Tomorrow we will continue working, and we will send an email notification to all delegates that it will be held tomorrow at 6 PM – said Pašalić.

Incidentally, in the introductory speech, those present raised issues regarding the non-attendance of certain delegates, as well as the fact that some of them have not even paid their membership fees. The Assembly has 40 delegates, but three have withdrawn and do not wish to be members, so the presence of 28 delegates was necessary to hold the session.

A representative of the Informal Group of Citizens "Za Čelik", which a month ago initiated amendments to the club's Statute, also came to the session. He was supposed to present a proposal for the new Statute of NK Čelik, as well as part of a development plan to save the club from extinction through a thorough reorganization. However, the session was not held.

The delegates were also supposed to be presented with the financial operations for 2014, a report on the work of the Management Board and the Professional Staff for 2013-2014, and the budget for 2015 was to be adopted for consideration.

Incidentally, this session is a direct product of the joint efforts of the IGC "Za Čelik" and the fan group "Robijaši 1988 Zenica" to hold it without further delay within 30 days, as was requested in a joint public letter to the club's Assembly.
