(Patria) - The Municipal Court in Mostar today passed a Decision on determining a security measure by which the Independent Trade Union of Employees of the University Clinical Hospital Mostar, as a representative trade union, is prohibited from striking and carrying out a strike, and from undertaking any further activities related to the organization of the strike, until the final conclusion of this procedure or until another court decision in this legal matter.
"With this decision, in order to ensure unimpeded and regular activities of providing healthcare services to patients, the court has obliged the named trade union to enable unimpeded and regular activities of providing comprehensive and timely healthcare services in all healthcare institutions in the HNK region," the HNK Government announced.
Let us remind you, almost 4,000 workers – from nurses to drivers – went on a general strike at the beginning of the week. They state that they earn up to 300 KM less per month compared to their colleagues from, for example, Canton Sarajevo, but also that the HNK Government has a different attitude towards them than towards the Trade Union of Doctors of Medicine and Dentistry. Dalibor Vuković, president of the Trade Union of Healthcare Workers of HNK, previously spoke to N1 about the reasons and the attitude of the HNK Government.
