(Patria) - The Municipal Board of SDA Stari Grad announced today with a statement titled "Attempted manipulation in employment in the Municipality of Stari Grad".
"While a person from the election list of the Socialist Party of Republika Srpska, which ran in the last elections under the slogan 'For a better Serbia', is being employed in the Government of Sarajevo Canton, an attempt is being made in the Municipality of Stari Grad through a public employment advertisement to avoid the obligation of giving priority to candidates from the veteran population, which is guaranteed by positive legal regulations.
We noticed and reacted, and the competent inspection ordered the annulment of the advertisement as it was published.
The Municipal Mayor Irfan Čengić, like any other mayor, must be a service to his citizens, especially to those who have most deserved it with their contribution to the defense against aggression on BiH. It is regrettable that the inspection has to remind him of this", stated the Municipal Board of SDA Stari Grad.
