Ilidža Municipality: RP Azići II adopted, only dilapidated buildings will be removed

The Ilidža Municipal Council, at its tenth session held today, adopted the Decision on the adoption of the Azići II Regulatory Plan. The preparation of this plan was initiated by the Ilidža Municipality, with the aim of reviewing spatial possibilities for harmonizing the existing situation with the demands of citizens, i.e., creating optimal conditions for improving the quality of housing while respecting ownership relations. The area under consideration is 76.1 ha. The construction of future buildings, roads, and communal infrastructure does not envisage the demolition of any existing residential buildings. The removal of buildings refers only to ruins, i.e., dilapidated buildings for the purpose of new construction, and the number of dilapidated buildings intended for removal due to new construction is 50.

At the session, the Ilidža Municipal Council also adopted the Decision on stipends for talented pupils and students in the school year 2017/2018. A total of 420 candidates applied for the public call for stipends for talented pupils in secondary and students in higher education, of whom 373 meet the conditions. Of these, 164 pupils and 209 students will receive a stipend from the Ilidža Municipality, and 344,460.00 KM will be allocated for these purposes.

The councilors also adopted the Proposal of the Decision on initiating the preparation of amendments and additions to the RP Centar. The amendments and additions to RP Centar concern the Hotel "Hollywood" area, with the aim of creating prerequisites for replacing the existing construction stock for the purpose of construction and changing the purpose of the existing residential building to a purpose that matches the hotel's content. The height of the building must not exceed the height of neighboring buildings, with a maximum of P+6 floors.

The Gender Action Plan of Ilidža Municipality 2017-2020 also received council support and will be a strategic-planning document that directly supports the implementation of the Law on Gender Equality in BiH at the local level and defines goals and measures for improving gender equality in the local community.

Before the councilors of the Municipal Council, 25 of whom were present at the session, was the Information on the endangerment of the territory of Ilidža Municipality by unexploded ordnance and explosive devices, and consent was also given to the Work Program of JP "Ilidža" d.o.o. for the business year 2018.
