Ilidža Municipality distributes 800 packages with basic foodstuffs

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - One of the measures implemented by the Ilidža Municipality during the fight against the spread and suppression of the coronavirus COVID-19 is the distribution of packages with basic foodstuffs: salt, sugar, oil, pasta, soups, canned goods, coffee to persons in need of social assistance. 400 packages have been procured and are being delivered to homes.

So far, 220 packages have been distributed by secretaries of local communities and volunteers.

Given that the needs on the ground are much greater, one of the decisions of the Mayor of Ilidža Municipality, who is also the commander of the Civil Protection Crisis Staff, is the procurement of an additional 400 packages.
