Centar Municipality Distributes 30 Packages for Christmas

The Local Self-Government Service of the Centar Municipality, in cooperation with the "Stari Grad" Soup Kitchen, provided 30 packages with basic food items, which were distributed to socially vulnerable categories of the population on the eve of Catholic Christmas, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Representatives of the Centar Municipality, Adil Katica, advisor to the President of the Centar Municipal Council, and Ibrahim Burazerović, coordinator for local communities in the Local Self-Government Service of the Centar Municipality, first handed over 15 packages to the Association of Pensioners and Demobilized HVO Soldiers of the Centar Municipality Sarajevo. The packages were received by Borko Tatlić, who thanked the Centar Municipality for the provided assistance.

- This assistance means a lot to us because we have members who are very poor and have nothing to eat. The Centar Municipality always helps us as much as it can, and we pass it on to our members - said Tatlić.

Stanko Knežević received a package with basic food items. He emphasized that this assistance means a lot to him.

- This package means half of Bosnia to me. I have no help other than what I received. I live a difficult life, so these groceries will be useful to me in the coming period - emphasized Stanko.

Packages with basic food items were received by: Stanko Knežević, Zdenka Arapović, Zorka Časar, Stanislav Dragoje, Marica Juričić, Maja Martinović, Fikreta Bojo, Tamara Puljić, Sonja Mičić, Krešimir Vukšić, Slavko Arđelan, Slavica Jerkić, Štefanija Mamić, Kornelija Stanić, and Klara Bušić.

Members of the Association of Pensioners and Demobilized HVO Soldiers of the Centar Municipality Sarajevo who will receive packages are Nedeljko Erbez, Ratomir Kuzek, Alojzije Milčević, Mladen Matijević, Dragan Milošević, Dražen Božović, Zvonimir Milas, Vasilije Samardžić, Jadranka Matoš, Srđen Cvijetić, Branislav Šuljigoj, Teo Arnautović, Vojko Šerbec, Ivan Sabo, and Stanko Kvesić.
