(Patria) - The head of the World Health Organization office in BiH, Victor Olsavszky, pointed out that today marks World Health Day, dedicated to nurses and medical technicians who are on the front line of defense now.
"When we talk about the global level, we can say that the situation is slightly better, because we see results in Italy and Spain, the recorded deaths and the number of infected are slowly decreasing, so we can say that we are on the right track.
When it comes to BiH, more precisely the Federation of BiH, we do notice a good trend in terms of an increase in the number of tests. This will help decision-makers better manage the crisis and flatten the growth curve so that we do not have a sudden spike in the number of infected. The main goal is to avoid a rapid large number of infected that would occupy all hospital capacities," added Olsavszky, saying that nowhere in the world is testing done on demand.
