Bosnia and Herzegovina's top athlete Amel Tuka, in his debut at the Olympic Games, finished second in the 800m qualifying race today with a time of 1:45:72, thus qualifying for the semi-finals which will be held tomorrow evening, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
Ayanleh Souleiman (Djibouti) crossed the finish line first with 1:45:48, and third was Boris Berian (USA) with 1:45:87.
There are a total of seven qualifying groups, and the top three competitors from each group, plus an additional three competitors with the best times, will advance to the semi-finals.
