Bosnia and Herzegovina national team gathers, operation Turkey and Northern Ireland begins

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Today, the operations for Turkey and Northern Ireland will begin with a gathering in Ilidža.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team has started the Nations League excellently, securing two victories in two matches. A triumph over the Irish in the next round would bring us even closer to the second round of this competition, through which we could reach the European Championship.

Coach Robert Prosinečki has made two changes for these matches compared to the September cycle. One is in the player roster, and the other in the organizational plan.

Regarding the player list, the only change compared to the September duels is the return of Asmir Begović, while Kenan Pirić is not included. Another change is that our players will complete all preparations for these duels in Sarajevo.

Before leaving for Turkey and after returning, they will stay at the Hotel Austria and train at the FK Sarajevo Training Camp. Since the match against Northern Ireland is played at Grbavica, our players will not travel to Zenica, as was the case before the match against Austria.

Robert Prosinečki expects the following players at today's preparations: Ibrahim Šehić (Erzurumspor), Asmir Begović (Bournemouth), Vedran Kjosevski (Željezničar), Darko Todorović (RB Salzburg), Ognjen Vranješ (Anderlecht), Toni Šunjić (Dinamo Moscow), Ermin Bičakčić (Hoffenheim), Ervin Zukanović (Genoa), Eldar Čivić (Sparta Prague), Bojan Nastić (Genk), Muhamed Bešić (Middlesbrough), Gojko Cimirot (Standard Liege), Miralem Pjanić (Juventus), Elvis Sarić (Suwon), Rade Krunić (Empoli), Goran Zakarić (Partizan), Haris Duljević (Dynamo Dresden), Edin Višća (Istanbul Basaksehir), Edin Džeko (Roma), Kenan Kodro (Copenhagen), Sanjin Prcić (Levante), Deni Milošević (Konyspor) and Riad Bajić (Istanbul Basaksehir).

The match against Turkey is scheduled for Thursday, and against Northern Ireland in six days. The Dragons will complete a total of six training sessions during the preparations.
