Bosnian cadets gather, first training held at the stadium in Župča

Today, the cadet national team players of Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered at the hotel „Park“ in Vogošća. They will participate this weekend in the 4th memorial tournament „Josip Katalinski Škija“ and have already completed one training session at the Mladost stadium in Župča, writes the Patria news agency.

- This tournament always comes at a good time because during that period we practically take over players from the „U-15“ selection, which is selected by Zoran Erbez, and I must emphasize that he has done an excellent job with the previous two generations. The results are the best indicator of that, as we played in the Elite round of qualifications twice and were very close to qualifying for the European Championship - said selector Sakib Malkočević and added:

- However, we must emphasize that this is just getting to know the team. We have our first matches ahead of us with only one training session, but we will have enough time to get acquainted. Despite that, we have an obligation to perform as well as possible at the tournament that bears the name of one of the greatest football legends from this region.

Our cadets will face the selection of the City of Belgrade tomorrow at 11 a.m. at the „Hakija Mršo“ stadium in Vogošća in the tournament semifinals. The second semifinal match between Montenegro and the selection of the City of Sarajevo and East Sarajevo will also be played on the same field.
