Handball team gathered, Marković with special emotions

As part of the preparations for the upcoming World Championship which will be held from 01/15/2015 to 02/01/2015 in Qatar, the men's handball national team of BiH gathered on Monday in Mostar's Hotel Bristol.

The second part of the preparations will begin on 01/02/2015, and on 01/04/2015, the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by coach Dragan Marković, will travel to Qatar where they will conduct final preparations before participating in the World Championship.

- The emotions are special for me to return to Mostar as a coach now. As a young man, I had the opportunity to play with players from Mostar and this region; it is not just a handball city but a sports city. Now I am here as the coach of a national team, and with a bit of nostalgia, I look back at the time that has passed extremely quickly. We are awaiting the arrival of Nikola Prce and Faruk Vražalić, and we planned to work with 21 players in training; 19 will travel to Qatar, although most national teams usually opt for 18. We are no longer unknown; the handball world has gotten to know us through matches with Denmark, Belarus, Germany, Iceland - says coach Marković. 

The Bosnia and Herzegovina handball team has completed its first training session as part of the preparations for the World Championship in Qatar.
