Clash at the RS Government: Stanivuković Blasts Authorities Over Reserves, Minić Emerges to Tell Him to Fix Banja Luka's Problems

(Patria) - Draško Stanivuković, leader of PDP and the "Safe Srpska" Movement, and Savo Minić, Prime Minister of the Republika Srpska entity, clashed today in front of the RS Government building in Banja Luka.

Namely, Stanivuković first held a press conference in front of the RS Government building, where he brought a prepared law on commodity reserves, stating that he would submit it to the Prime Minister and donated a pallet of food as the first commodity reserves.

"What concerns Republika Srpska and BiH, as well as the Balkans, are global conflicts, namely the price of energy, oil, fuel, the rising cost of living, and the inefficient RS Government, and delayed and slow reactions, for which I believe a serious country should react much faster," said Stanivuković.

He asked Savo Minić, Prime Minister of RS, who had arrived at the press conference in the meantime, what was happening with the commodity reserves.

"I learned from my great-grandfather how a true host is measured, and that is whether they have a full pantry at home. Well, where the pantry is full of ajvar, salami, prosciutto, cheese, there is enough of everything. What the pantry is for a household, commodity reserves are for a country," Stanivuković stated.

Opposition Demands Renewal of Commodity Reserves and Faster Institutional Reactions

Unfortunately, as he said, "our commodity reserves do not exist, they went into receivership in 2017, i.e., they went bankrupt".

He said that he would immediately hand over the law on commodity reserves to the Government for protocol.

"Such a law defines the establishment of a company, what products should be included, e.g., gasoline and diesel, cows, bulls, i.e., meat and products, and defines the basic 20 products with which the state intervenes during a crisis. We had all of this, but we lost it due to crime, everything failed, was gambled away, and everything was given to 'Farmland'," said Stanivuković.

Savo Minić, Prime Minister of RS, who came out when he saw the press conference being held, replied to Stanivuković that one should first work in their own yard, and then go to the neighbor and find fault.

"The RS Government is actively working on all issues that currently represent problems caused by the conflict in the Middle East. The only thing done so far in Europe is that Croatia has limited the price of diesel to 3.70 KM. The International Energy Agency has not written a single word so far, and as for Serbia, the decree on limiting fuel prices has been extended until March 13th," said Minić.

He invited Stanivuković to come to him and talk about what needs to be done for the benefit of the citizens.

Minić asked what about the city of Banja Luka, the potholes, the heating, the swimming pool, why parking is not being charged, etc.
