Schmidt and Bećirović's meeting at the OHR concluded

The meeting between BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović and High Representative Christian Schmidt concluded in the OHR building in Sarajevo, Vijesti.ba has confirmed.

Unofficially, the topic of discussion was the response to unconstitutional actions from the Republika Srpska entity and the adoption of the Law on Non-application of Decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH.

The meeting was not announced and took place shortly before Bećirović's departure for London.

Schmidt stated this evening that he hopes Dodik has realized that the international community and those who protect Dayton must react!

- These decisions and actions of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska regarding non-compliance with the Constitutional Court of BiH represent a step backward on the EU path! The time for statements is over, and it is time to take action, Schmidt said.

Two days ago, Bećirović stated that as the Presidency, he is giving the international community seven days, especially the witnesses to the Dayton Peace Agreement, to stop the killing of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

- The decision of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska is the most severe blow to the Agreement. Everyone in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in the international community, must be aware of this. What Milorad Dodik and his followers are doing is a great misfortune for the RS entity and the state, but also for the region. The only beneficiary is Putin's regime, and the West must be aware of this. I want to warn all those who can act that it is high time to act, in accordance with the Dayton Peace Agreement, Bećirović said.

As Patria has already reported, although Schmidt did not specify when he would make a decision, he only said it would be in "due course," which could be from tomorrow onwards.

Bećirović told the international community that they have seven days to react adequately and take action against Dodik and those who participated in the coup d'état.
