Ognjen Tadić asked the question: Are Bosniak politicians more concerned with Željko Komšić in the BiH Presidency and foreign judges in the Constitutional Court of BiH than with BiH's accession to the EU? Neither Komšić nor foreign judges can get BiH into the EU, Tadić wrote.
It can be assumed that he, as an advisor to Milorad Dodik, by asking this question to Bosniak politicians, wants to draw the attention of Bosniaks to the importance of adopting the Election Law of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the text written by Dragan Čović, and the law on the Constitutional Court according to the ultimatum and wishes of Milorad Dodik. Because if this does not happen, or if Bosniaks do not agree to it, then there will be nothing from our (I mean Bosnia and Herzegovina) membership in the European Union.
Therefore, Tadić should be made aware of the following:
First, we Bosniaks have no problem with Željko Komšić, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a proven fighter for Bosnia and Herzegovina and for equal rights for all its citizens. Željko Komšić was elected by the will of the citizens, and with the dominant votes of Bosniaks. Bosniaks would act the same way if Bosnia and Herzegovina had one president.
They would choose the best among the offered candidates. Željko Komšić is the best proof that there are Croats, and not a small number of them, who immensely love their homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina. Likewise, there are a large number of Serbs who fought for the honor of this country, and against the aggression that was carried out in 1992. On the other hand, the "Komšić case", as they like to call it, instead of "Komšić's election to the Presidency", by those who are for ethnic divisions of citizens and ethnic division of the country, and even for its complete destruction, speaks of the democratic level of development of Bosniaks and their attitude towards those who are neither Bosniaks nor Muslims.
And Željko Komšić is not an isolated case that proves this claim. We will mention, as an example, the election of the mayor of Centar Municipality and Vareš Municipality. In this regard, we are several miles ahead of the current development of democracy and respect for the other and different within some national parties with a Croatian or Serbian prefix.
How is it that Bosniaks play a key role in the election of the mayor in Vareš, and Croats in the municipal council in Stolac Municipality, not even three years after the local elections were held, in which a Croat was elected mayor, refuse to respect the Constitution of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and elect a Bosniak as the president of the Municipal Council.
How is it that in Republika Srpska, continuous attacks on Bosniaks are carried out, even murders, and the perpetrators are usually not found and prosecuted. So, that is the answer to the question of whether Komšić or accession to the EU is more important to us. Surely the European Union expects Bosnia and Herzegovina to implement all judgments of the European Court of Human Rights, after which there will not be only one "Komšić" case. There will then be "Finci", "Sejdić" cases, and all those who addressed the European Court.
And in the end, there will be the "Kovačević" case, which means that everyone will be able to vote for everyone, and there will be no pens you want to lock us into from which you want elections to be held. You call that democracy, but it is segregation, division, and radical nationalism. That won't happen, Tadić. That story is over.
As for foreign judges in the Constitutional Court, they are important to us Bosniaks because they are a constitutional category. And you will never replace them or "kick them out" of the Constitutional Court with some law. This can only be achieved by amending the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina. And only in such a way that "ethnic" quotas are not defined at all, but only professional quotas and qualifications, that judges are elected by the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly, and that the court makes decisions by a majority vote.
These are two issues, along with the issue of state property, of vital importance for Bosnia and Herzegovina, its survival and development. Therefore, Tadić, we Bosniaks value Bosnia and Herzegovina more than all world unions, including the European Union. The fact that you think we are so naive that you can ask such stupid questions and dilemmas is your problem.
In the end, we must admit that among Bosniaks there is a certain percentage of those who would agree to all your games, ultimatums, to all your blackmail and threats, who do not understand the question you are asking, and who would decide on behalf of Bosniaks and the state.
There are also those who, together with you, instead of building, are dismantling state institutions, out of ignorance or intent. There are also those who divide us, instead of uniting us. There are also those who are greedy for material things and who put personal interest above the interest of the state. And there are also those who, when staffing, trade state and national interests to secure "hands", good grades in interviews, and "excellent rankings" when appointed to the most important state positions, and these are cadres who would be more useful to the state if they did not come to work.
We know all this, Tadić. We know them, all of the above, by name and surname. And we are closely monitoring what they are doing. Unfortunately, we have allowed some of them to undermine or procrastinate for years, and some for decades, and cause us harm. And this is primarily our, Bosniak, problem. And we will solve it, rest assured. But do not imagine that you can pose dilemmas to us. We have no dilemmas. Bosnia and Herzegovina is before and above all for us.
