First session of the FBiH Government held, 60-day suspension of public service employment

The Government of the Federation of BiH, at its first regular session in Sarajevo today, attended by the President of the Federation of BiH Marinko Čavara and Vice Presidents of the Federation of BiH Melika Mahmutbegović and Milan Dunović, was informed about the “Concept of Economic Development 2014-2018 - Economic Growth and Employment”, and assessed that this document can serve as a basis for drafting the Work Program Proposal of the Federal Government for the mandate period 2015-2018, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

All federal ministries are tasked to submit proposals, remarks, and suggestions on this document to the Office of the FBiH Prime Minister and the Federal Development Programming Institute within 15 days, as well as to propose measures for its implementation.

The Government today appointed a special commission that will monitor the activities on the realization of the “Concept of Economic Development 2014-2018 - Economic Growth and Employment”.

MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISORY BOARDS

The FBiH Government has tasked the federal ministries that exercise the powers of the Federation of BiH bodies in companies with state capital participation to provide it with information on the mandates and status of management, management, and supervisory board members within 15 days.

Furthermore, the Government has tasked federal ministries, federal administrations, federal administrative organizations, federal institutions and other federal institutions and services, and especially the Public Service Agency of FBiH, to immediately suspend all competitions for the recruitment of civil servants for a period of 60 days.

The FBiH Government today invited the members of management, management, and supervisory boards of companies with state capital participation in which federal ministries exercise the powers of the bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina Federation, to make themselves available to the development policies of the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina Federation and the federal ministries that will implement them in accordance with valid legal regulations.

The Federal Government has tasked its General Secretariat to provide all federal ministries with Information on the status of draft laws, proposed laws and other regulations that are in parliamentary procedure and have not been considered by either chamber of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH.

The Federal Government has tasked the federal ministers and other heads of federal administrative bodies to provide it with a statement within 15 days on whether they are withdrawing these regulations from the parliamentary procedure or if they stand by the proposed texts.
