Final training held for young BiH national team members ahead of the World Fishing Championship

(Patria) - Mostar will be the host city of the 20th World Flyfishing Championship, with the competition taking place from June 16 to 23 on the Buna River and Mostarsko Lake. The organizers of the competition are the Sports Fishing Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Sports Fishing Association 'Neretva 1933' from Mostar.

Around a hundred competitors and guests from 13 national teams have registered to participate in the 20th Fips-Mouche Cortland World Youth Championship. Thus, the national teams of the USA, Finland, Spain, France, Poland, Slovenia, Ireland, South Africa, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina will compete in this event.

Our young competitors held their final unofficial training session and are eagerly awaiting to 'cross rods' with their colleagues in the competition.

'Our national team members have already surpassed their teachers in knowledge and skill, so we expect a good result at this, their first international competition of this rank. May our young anglers have clear waters,' said Danije Kobačić, president of the Sports Fishing Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
