(Patria) - The prosecutor handling the case at the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor's Office has proposed one-month detention for Nermin Dizdarević, who is suspected of rape in a particularly cruel and humiliating manner. A hearing was held at the Cantonal Court, and detention was ordered for him.
Detention was proposed due to the risk of flight, the risk that he might influence witnesses, conceal evidence, or repeat the offense if at liberty, and due to the risk of public disturbance if he remains at liberty.
Earlier, detention was ordered for two other individuals who jointly abducted, drugged, and raped the unfortunate girl in an apartment in Ilidža.
