SARAJEVO CANTON GOVERNMENT APPROVES From September 1, 80 percent higher prices for KJKP Pokop services, see the price list

(Patria) - What had been announced for several months happened at the session of the Sarajevo Canton Government on August 7, when the Decision on the prices of funeral services from the core activity of KJKP Pokop was adopted, which will come into effect on September 1 this year.

This is a price increase of nearly 80 percent, and the price list had not been changed since 1999.

According to the new price list, the annual fee for using a burial plot will no longer be 8.50 KM but 15.13 KM. The use of sound equipment for speeches at the gravesite will amount to 208.26 KM from September 1, instead of the previous 117 KM.

Transport from the place of death to the morgue or from the morgue to the cemetery will cost 70.49 KM, compared to the previous 39.60 KM.

Land for adult burials now costs 200 KM, instead of 46.80 KM. Excavation of the grave site and backfilling will be paid depending on the depth, with prices ranging from 312 KM to 520 KM.

A new price list for KJKP Rad services is also being prepared, and the waste collection service will be charged based on the number of household members, not square footage.

Earlier, water, heating, public transport, and electricity had already increased in price.
