Odobašić: In the last 9 years, we have found the bodies of only 200 victims in BiH, which is devastating!

Expert on missing persons Jasmin Odobašić will present the book "A Thousand Graves in Bosnian Krajina 1992-1995", on Friday, April 3rd, at the UNITC building in Sarajevo, starting at 7 PM.

This official of the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH and expert on missing persons told the BiH news agency Patria that it is devastating that only 200 bodies of the murdered have been found in BiH in the last nine years, while more than 4,000 murdered individuals were found in the first nine years after the aggression against BiH.

- It was expected that the number of discovered graves would decrease as time went by, but finding 200 bodies in nine years at a time when we know that 4,000 bodies were found in the same period before, is truly devastating - said Odobašić.

He added that he believes that some foreign experts have contributed greatly to improving the process of finding missing persons in BiH, but that the time has come for domestic experts to take over the entire process of finding missing persons in BiH, who will search for the missing with much more enthusiasm than foreign experts do, and that the process of finding the murdered will also significantly accelerate.

The promotion will also be held in Tešanj on Saturday, April 4th.
