
(Patria) - I can only tell you that the case is active and that due to the rules of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and the interests of my client, I will not provide any information to the public at all.
This was stated to Patria by Elmir Jahić, attorney for the former Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fadil Novalić, after some BiH media outlets published that "Fadil Novalić and Fahrudin Solak are being released" because "the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg determined that their fundamental human rights were violated during the proceedings before the Court of BiH".
The portal Istraga.ba tonight published that the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg has not ruled on the application of Fadil Novalić and Fahrudin Solak.
The Court has only requested a statement from Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the case and, according to established procedure, has asked BiH to try to reach an agreement with the applicants.
