
(Patria) - The women's volleyball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after a great fight, lost to favored Bulgaria 3:1 in the 2nd round of the European Championship (25:20, 25:19, 19:25, 25:18)
The "Dragons" faced a strong rival, but despite a good resistance, they could not achieve a more favorable result. Bulgarian volleyball players started the match excellently, and won the first set 25:20.
The BiH volleyball players had a four-point lead in the second set (9:5), but then Bulgaria made an incredible 10:1 run that decided the set.
Bosnia and Herzegovina started the third set excellently. Our volleyball players had control from the very beginning. They maintained a five-point lead for a long time, and then Dajana Bošković scored for +6 (19:13). They routinely won this set.
In the fourth set, our volleyball players competed with Bulgaria, but the opposing team was too strong and won 3:1.
The most effective player in our team was Dajana Bošković with 18 points, Edina Begić scored two less, while Ajla Paradžik and Iman Isanović added nine each. On the other side, Radostina Marinova stood out with 19.
The best BiH volleyball players play their next match tomorrow against Croatia, and the game starts at 6:00 PM.
