(Patria) - Delegations of the Union of Civilian War Victims and the Government of Sarajevo Canton (KS) laid flowers today at the memorial plaque on Vrbanja Bridge, at the site where the first Sarajevo civilian victims, Suada Dilberović and Olga Sučić, were killed.

- Today we are at the site where the first civilian war victims, Suada and Olga, were killed. The name of Muhidin Šabanović, who was also killed on this spot on April 5th, has been unjustly neglected.
We joined the commemoration of the 1,601 children killed in besieged Sarajevo. Today, we remember all the citizens of Sarajevo who were brutally killed during the aggression against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sarajevo.
Unfortunately, for the 11,541 citizens of Sarajevo killed in the aggression, we only have four verdicts from the Hague Tribunal, based on command responsibility - said the president of the Union of Civilian War Victims of KS, Senida Karović.

She emphasized that the BiH Prosecutor's Office has not processed a single indictment for individual responsibility to date.
- We are dissatisfied with the inaction of the BiH Prosecutor's Office, because it is a fact that Sarajevo is the most documented city in terms of the siege, war crimes, and everything we experienced during the 1,425 days of the siege - stated Karović.
She added that based solely on the verdicts of the Hague Tribunal, the BiH Prosecutor's Office could file at least 100 indictments for individual responsibilities.

- Everything is available to them, by name and surname, however, nothing has happened to date regarding the terrorizing of Sarajevo citizens - concluded Karović.
