Two patients died from coronavirus in Banja Luka, virus claimed 12 lives

(Patria) - Two patients infected with coronavirus died today at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases of the University Clinical Center of RS, it was confirmed by that health institution. 

"We inform the public and the media that today, March 31, at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases of the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska, despite the maximum efforts of the doctors and staff of our institution to save their lives, two male patients of older age passed away," stated the UKC RS.

These were patients from Banja Luka and Laktaši, in whom the presence of coronavirus had previously been confirmed, and they had multiple co-existing chronic conditions.

The patient from Banja Luka had been treated at the Clinic for Infectious Diseases since March 22, and the patient from Laktaši since March 27.

The patients had multiple chronic co-existing conditions.

With these two cases, a total of 12 people have died from the consequences of coronavirus in BiH.
