Doctor dies from coronavirus in Mostar

MOSTAR, (Patria) - The second death case has been confirmed in Bosnia and Herzegovina today. A doctor from the Mostar Health Center who was infected with the coronavirus has died.

"We wish to inform you of the death of our colleague, prim. dr. V. M., born in 1963. The deceased colleague was confirmed to have coronavirus on April 15, and he died last night at his home. We are all shocked and saddened by this sad news and express our sincere condolences to the family of the deceased," the statement from the Mostar Health Center said.

It was also stated that the deceased doctor had not worked at the Mostar Health Center since March 18, i.e., since the management of this institution reorganized operations due to the pandemic.
