SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Health Kianoush Jahanpour announced on Monday that 8,376 out of a total of 23,049 infected people have recovered from coronavirus, while, unfortunately, 1,812 have died.
Jahanpour stated that 1,411 new cases of infection have been confirmed since yesterday, reports the Iranian News Agency IRNA.
Over the past 24 hours, 127 people have succumbed to the deadly virus, he added.
More than 36 million people have been screened in connection with the coronavirus infection, reported the Iranian state news agency IRNA.
