The first workshop for women within the project Creative Entrepreneurship for Women from Srebrenica and Bratunac, implemented by the Association "Sara-Srebrenica", has begun in Srebrenica, reports the Patria News Agency.
Fifteen women from Srebrenica and Bratunac will learn decoupage techniques, and with the acquired skills, they will be able to start their own businesses.
Valentina Gagić from the Association "Sara-Srebrenica" said that the project will last for seven months. The training for the first group of participants has started, who will undergo training in decorating items using the decoupage technique during April.
- In May, we will continue with handicraft techniques - said Gagić. This project is supported by the German Adult Education Association (DVV International) – office in BiH, which has been cooperating with the Association "Sara-Srebrenica" for over 12 years on projects providing lifelong adult learning - said Gagić.
At the beginning of July, a call for 15 new participants will be announced, reports NAP.
