Exactly at 2 PM, as announced, 4,120 liters of begova čorba were cooked in Sarajevo for Guinness!
As one of the chefs, Zaim Merdan, told the BH news agency Patria, although they feared due to the rain, everything was completed within the scheduled time.
- All portions should be delivered to the soup kitchen by 4 PM - he told us.
The cooking of begova čorba began this morning at 6 AM using a fire that required about ten gas cylinders.
A ton of chicken, 150 kg of carrots, 50 kg of onions, 5 kg of okra, 70 kg of flour, 15 kg of parsley, 75 liters of oil, 15 kg of butter, and 5 kg of spices were needed for this begova čorba.
The general sponsors of this event were Vispak, Tajna spices and food additives, as well as Oaza and AS Group.
This event attracted great attention from citizens who watched with interest as the begova čorba was cooked in a giant pot with a diameter of three meters.
