Commemoration of the suffering of Serbs in Zalazje

SREBRENICA, (Patria) - The day after the 24th anniversary of the genocide against Bosniaks in the UN protected zone of Srebrenica, the 27th anniversary of the suffering of 69 Serb civilians and soldiers, who were killed in the village of Sase, as well as the villages of Biljača, Zagoni and Zalazje, was marked in the Srebrenica village of Zalazje.

The commemoration of the suffering began with a liturgy at the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God in Srebrenica, after which family members of the fallen, relatives, neighbors and numerous delegations will visit the sites of suffering, lay flowers at the memorial monuments and light candles for the souls of the murdered.

A memorial service was also held for the murdered at the monument and ossuary in Zalazje.
