21st anniversary of the Seventh Corps, which did not lose an inch of territory during the war, marked

Today in Travnik, a ceremony was held to mark the anniversary of the formation of the 7th Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes the Patria News Agency.

In Travnik, the 21st anniversary of the Seventh Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina was marked with a series of events. It was emphasized several times that the Seventh Corps of the Army of RBiH did not lose an inch of territory during the past war. Among others, the event was attended by the Vice President of the FBiH, Melika Mahmutbegović, who laid flowers at the Central Martyrs' Cemetery in Travnik and paid tribute to the martyrs and fallen soldiers.

The Seventh Corps was formed in 1994 in Travnik and quickly earned the epithet of the most offensive unit, given that it was the youngest army corps in the past war and liberated the largest part of the occupied Bosnian territory.

The Corps was led by the legendary commander Mehmed Alagić.
