In addition to veteran associations, comrades-in-arms, and family members, the flowers were also laid by the Minister for Veteran Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, Omer Osmanović.
- As a brave and decisive commander, General Suljević made an immeasurable contribution to the defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, leaving behind an example of honor, responsibility, and selfless service to his homeland.
His sacrifice obliges us to cultivate a culture of remembrance and to pass on to future generations the truth about those who built the foundations of our freedom with their lives.
We remember General Suljević with special respect, whose heroism still reminds us today of the values worth fighting for - it was stated at today's commemoration.
