NSRS adopted Declaration: Will not accept decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH

The National Assembly of Republika Srpska, with 63 votes in favour and three against, adopted a Declaration defining that Republika Srpska will not accept the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH, following the appeal by Bakir Izetbegović, if it challenges January 9th as the legitimate date for marking the day of this entity, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The Declaration was adopted unanimously, given the consensus of Serb political parties, government and opposition, as well as the Homeland coalition. The coalition of Bosniak parties submitted its conclusions, which were not accepted.

The OHR and the US Embassy have already assessed this Declaration as pressure on the work of the Constitutional Court.
