Novigrad Sports Centre Opens Doors to Future Dragons

Football School Novi Grad, together with the Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo, has realized a major project of building a training camp in the Bojnik settlement, and symbolically on the eve of the start of the World Cup in Brazil, this field will be opened today at 6 PM, writes the Patria News Agency.

Football School "Novi Grad" is one of the most massive schools in Sarajevo when it comes to football. It gathers around 450 members, aged 8 to 18. The Municipality of Novi Grad Sarajevo granted them a location this year, free of charge, for the purpose of building a training camp.

Otherwise, at this location, as told to us by Fadil Aganspahić, director of the "Novi Grad" football school, the construction of two standard-sized stadiums and one smaller stadium is planned.

- This will be the first stadium in this part of the Novi Grad municipality and a place for holding training sessions and matches for the Novi Grad football school, and we have also agreed with the local club Bojnik that they can use the field - says Aganspahić.

The municipality previously ceded this undeveloped land for the construction of this camp.

- For years, we have been trying to get space for building sports fields, but we did not find understanding from the local authorities. Now we really have something to be proud of, and the field looks magnificent - added Aganspahić.
