New Željo coach Admir Adžem to lead the team against GOŠK tomorrow

FK Željezničar will enter the new season of the BiH Premier League with a new head of professional staff, Admir Adžem. After the end of last season and the conclusion of the European League competition, the Management Board reviewed the work done during the preparatory period as well as the plans and goals for the 2017/2018 competitive year. After it was decided to continue the cooperation with Slavko Petrović following the loss of the title, it was expected that the identified shortcomings would be corrected and that the team would play as expected. However, after the performance in the European League, it is evident that stagnation has continued, and there has been almost no improvement in the game. Therefore, it was unanimously decided to terminate the cooperation with the current head of professional staff, it was announced from FK Željezničar, reports Patria.

After that, the Management Board appointed Admir Adžem, the former coach of Željezničar's youth team, which won the championship title last season, as the head coach. The Management Board believes that Adžem's recent results with the youth team are an indicator that he is a promising young professional who knows every segment of the Club, as well as the pressure that working in the Club entails, given that he himself went through the Youth Academy and was a first-team player in senior competition for a long time.

Adžem will thus return to the position of head of professional staff after three years and will be on the Željezničar bench as early as tomorrow when GOŠK from Gabela visits Grbavica at 8:30 PM.

FK Željezničar invites fans to fill Grbavica once again and support the team, and to open the new season with a victory, in which we have the greatest ambitions.
