New RK Bosna coach Daniel Riđić: Building a team is a long process, we will have reinforcements

Daniel Riđić was officially presented to the public today after taking over as head of the professional staff of RK Bosna, following the mutual termination of cooperation with Adem Bašić, writes Patria.

This is the second term for the native of Zavidovići at the helm of the Sarajevo Students, as he was an assistant to Irfan Smajlagić from 2009 to 2011. During that period, Bosna achieved one of the greatest successes in BiH club sports, playing in the eighth finals of the Champions League, and Riđić also won two BiH championship titles and a Cup winner's title at the time.
He then led Konjuh independently, with whom he was the BiH runner-up, which he repeated with Vogošća, with whom he also won our country's Cup last season.

The new coach of Bosna will be assisted by former national team player of our country, Nermin Bašić.

During the press conference, the president of RK Bosna, Mirza Alispahić, stated that the ambitions of RK Bosna and Riđić "absolutely coincided and that mutual cooperation was quickly agreed upon".

- Riđić and his assistant Nermin Bašić have the full trust of the Management Board. Their arrival at the club is just one of a series of moves by which we want to build a strong and European Bosna in the coming period - said Alispahić.

Riđić said that he does not know the team well and that bringing in quality reinforcements in the right positions is an option.

- Building a team is a long process. In the remaining three rounds until the winter break, we will try to get the maximum out of the players - said Riđić.

It was emphasized that the goal of RK Bosna in the continuation of the season is to fight for the top three places in the Premier League and to participate in the championship playoffs, as well as to reach the final stages of the BiH Cup.

Assistant coach Bašić, as a player, won two titles and several cups with this club and is happy to be part of the professional team. 

Bosna handball players expect a match against the Goražde team as early as December 3rd.
