New clash between Velež and Zrinjski fans: Seven Ultras members sustain serious bodily injuries

(Patria) - Today, near Mostar in the town of Polog, a new clash occurred between fans of Velež and Zrinjski, in which members of the Red Army stopped a vehicle on the main road carrying Zrinjski fans, the Ultras, and attacked them with bats, as confirmed for Istraga.

The incident happened when Zrinjski fans were returning from Iceland after a European match against Breidablik.

Footage of the unrest is spreading on social media, showing a group of hooligans attacking a van with bats.

A large number of police officers were dispatched to the scene and intervened to restore order.

The Ultras fans sustained serious bodily injuries, as confirmed for Istraga by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
