New coach of BiH national team to be appointed on November 29

ZENICA, (Patria) - The election of the coach of the BiH A national team has been postponed to November 29 after no agreement was reached on a new coach at yesterday's session, which ended last night.

As is usually the case, new candidates for the successor of Mehmed Baždarević will surface in the coming days.

The initial contenders for this position remain Meho Kodro and Amar Osim, however, representatives of the Football Association of Republika Srpska (FS RS) are insisting on their candidates.

After information emerged last night that Vinko Marinović was among the candidates, the name of Dušan Bajević is also being mentioned in the smaller BiH entity.

Bajević is otherwise part of a four-member expert commission that yesterday proposed Osim and Kodro to the BiH football government for the election of the coach.

The celebrated BiH footballer holds the position of director at Greek club AEK and it is difficult to believe that he will readily accept the hot seat.

FS RS had also proposed Slavoljub Muslin, however, the former Serbia coach thanked them for their interest and decided to seek new coaching engagement elsewhere.
