(Patria) - The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will hold an emergency session tomorrow starting at 9 a.m., at which it will review earlier decisions on the distribution of funds to lower levels of government – cantons, cities and municipalities, for the purpose of combating the coronavirus.
The government informs the public that funds based on the earlier decision have not been paid, and that there will be no payments until the government decides on proposals to amend the method of distribution of these funds. The Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić, will present at tomorrow's government session a proposal that the said funds of 21 million KM, instead of being directed to cantonal and municipal budgets, be directly allocated for the procurement of medical and other equipment for combating the coronavirus, which will be distributed to the most affected areas in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
