Novalić spoke with Puljić: The Church respects and implements all measures adopted due to the pandemic

(Patria) - Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Fadil Novalić met today at the seat of the Federal Government in Sarajevo with Archbishop Cardinal Vinko
Puljić. They discussed the current situation caused by the outbreak of the new
coronavirus COVID-19 and the negative impact the pandemic is having on all
segments of life.

Cardinal Puljić, thanking for the reception, said that they are all going through
the current complex situation together. He informed the Prime Minister that the Church respects and implements all
measures adopted due to the pandemic, and highlighted the problem of reduced inflow of funds, which affects the status of a certain number of employees. Prime Minister Novalić expressed great honor regarding the Cardinal's visit. He informed the guest about the measures the FBiH Government has taken so far to mitigate the negative
consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Federal Prime Minister said that the FBiH Government is also working on a modality for finding a systemic solution for all religious communities, which are also affected by the consequences
of the coronavirus pandemic. On this occasion, the Cardinal also announced that he will soon take over the presidency of the Interreligious Council in BiH.
