Novalić responds to Nikšić: If I had wanted to give away the Airport, do you think I would be where I am now?

(Patria) - Federal Prime Minister Nermin Nikšić on social media assured the public that the SDA's plan was to put Sarajevo Airport under concession while Fadil Novalić was prime minister.

- The question is whether they even read their own acts and programs? If they haven't, then they are unaware; if they have, then they are deliberately deceiving the public. The outcome is the same in both cases, just another in a series of lies.

Namely, a review of the document Program of Economic Stabilization 2020-2021 and assumptions for 2022 shows the strategic commitment of the then government to find a concessionaire for international airports in the Federation as soon as possible.

So, if the goat lies, the horn does not lie, as our people would say - wrote Nikšić.

- They asked me for the Airport. I offered them to build an airport next to ours if they insisted so much. I am aware of its strategic importance for our country and its citizens, and my position is that it should remain for us and our children.

The document you published dates from 2020. Did I put the Airport under concession then? I did not. And that's where the whole story ends.

If I had intended to put the Airport under concession, I would have done so. After all, if I had wanted to give away the Airport, do you think I would be where I am now?
