SERBIA, (Patria) - Serbian tennis player Novak Đoković has been infected with coronavirus, as has his wife Jelena, while their children have tested negative. Testing followed the cancellation of the final match in Zadar at the Adria tour, which was also attended by Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov, who has been infected with coronavirus.
Đoković returned to Serbia, where he was tested.
Let us recall that, in addition to Dimitrov, three more participants of the tennis tournament in Zadar have been infected with the new coronavirus, and among those positive for SARS-CoV-2 is Croatian representative Borna Ćorić, while the other two individuals are not players.
These are Novak Đoković's fitness coach, Marko Paniki, and Kristijan Groh, the fitness coach of the previously infected Dimitrov.
Of the 22 people tested between Sunday and Monday who had contact with the Bulgarian ace, 19 tested negative.
